Hi *|FNAME|*, One of the things I find most interesting about the IMS is the range of ways organisations apply the thinking. Although Investment Logic Mapping is often associated with individual business cases, the same disciplined line of enquiry can also support: investment planning and prioritisation; At program level, for example, the IMS can help establish a common view of the major Problems an organisation or portfolio needs to address, the Benefits and KPIs that define the value sought, and the strategic direction future investments should support. Individual initiatives can then be shaped and prioritised against that common logic. I’d be interested to hear how you have been using the IMS since the course. Feel free to reply and let me know what has worked well — or where you have found the practice more difficult. I have also added some examples of broader IMS application to the Participant Resource Hub. [Explore broader applications of the IMS] If your organisation is considering how to build more consistent investment capability across a team or program, I am always happy to have a conversation about what that could look like.
