It has been around a year since you completed your IMS training, so I wanted to reconnect.

Over that time I hope you have had opportunities to apply some of the thinking — whether through a formal ILM, business case development, investment planning or simply by bringing greater discipline to investment conversations.

The core questions remain simple:

• Are we addressing a genuine and evidence-based need?

• Are we clear about the value we expect to create?

• Have we genuinely considered different ways of responding?

• Is the proposed Solution credible and capable of delivering that value?

The challenge is continuing to apply those questions with discipline as investments become more complex.

I regularly update the Participant Resource Hub with practical resources and Investment Thinking Notes, so it is worth revisiting from time to time.
